Wondering where all the great gifts are hiding? The answer is clear: everywhere! However, the struggle of finding the perfect gift for that special someone can turn into the most horrible time of the year. I’ve been there, I understand. Gift shopping can be a total nightmare. Whether you are shopping for a Christmas gift or an anniversary, I can help you narrow down the choices and find a perfect gift for any occasion. Furthermore, if you feel like you deserve a fashionable treat, don’t be afraid to indulge yourself in a new pair of furry slippers or a scented candle that you really, really love. All there is left to do is click & shop! Here are my twenty picks.
1. Charlotte Tilbury printed cotton-canvas cosmetic case
Forget about what Marilyn Monroe said about the correlation between the right shoes and conquering the world. “Give a woman the right makeup”, on the other hand, “and she can conquer the world”, is the motto printed on the back of Charlotte Tilbury’s cosmetic case, available at Net-a-Porter for $18. The case is large enough to store everything from your favorite lipstick to concealer. It is made from white, machine-washable cotton with printed coral kisses from “some of the most iconic women in fashion” (including Marilyn Monroe).
2. STUDIOSARAH set of three striped notebooks
Do you have a friend that just loves journals, planners and perfect notebooks? The three A6 notebooks, aside from being absolutely stunning, have contrasting marble print and pink and fuchsia covers with gilded stripes. Available at Sephora for exactly $55, the Chanel hair mist is filled with tender and vibrant notes of Grapefruit, Jasmine and White Musk. I don’t think it comes with a manual, so here’s a hint: mist onto brush or directly onto hair as a part of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre fragrance ritual.

“With this makeup collection, I want to make women everywhere feel empowered, beautiful and confident. Inspired by my favorite cities in the world, this collection reflects my own personal beauty vision”, stated Victoria Beckham after the launch of her second collection with beauty giant Estée Lauder. Although this is a luxury makeup collection, here’s a piece you actually can afford. The Aura Gloss, a high-shine gloss, is infused with gold pearl shimmer that catches the light, defines features, and creates dimension. It is limited edition, making it ideal for a gift.
15. Rebecca Minkoff Double Sphere Stud Earrings
Does ‘I Love You New York’ tee sound familiar? The iconic T-shirt was designed in 2001 by Rebecca Minkoff, one of the most interesting US designers. These sophisticated spheres are designed to frame the lobes in glinting shine. They are crafted with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, available in gold or silver plate. This particular model is one of Minkoff’s best-selling jewelery pieces. I found them at Nordstrom at a price of $38. 20. Smythson Panama The Devil is in the Detail textured leather notebook

Editor’s note: I made sure to sift through an awful lot of amazing gift ideas to bring you the best of the best— the most luxurious of them all, unbelievably affordable and gift ideas I personally go for. For instance, I can’t stop sniffing Nest Fragrances Moroccan Amber. It is obscenely dreamy and smells like heaven. It’s gentleness will make you stay at home for the weekend, cuddle up in a fuzzy, warm blanket and catch up on your reading. Further, my wallet got stolen on two occasions. The second time it happened, I decided to splurge on something nice to replace it, something small enough to fit in every bag and thin enough to fit in pocket. Diane Von Furstenberg calf hair leather cardholder was the perfect choice. There is actually enough space in it to fit a few bills and organize your cards in a way you see them clearly. I sincerely hope that these gift ideas will serve you well. Oh, and please remember that it’s the thought that counts. Even if you can’t afford everything from this list, you can always afford a gift of kindness. Be kind. Be brave. Be you. Warmest wishes, A.
