My haute life started 28 years ago in Sarajevo, where I was born and raised. Little did I know that fashion is going to become a huge part of my life, my passion and love. Sarajevo is remote from the fashion capitals, still I decided to become a part of that mesmerizing world and use my writing skills to focus on what I am passionate about the most. As a fashion editor and bonafide city girl, I know now that I made a good decision.
After two years of writing about fashion, culture and art, I got honored to do an interview with a woman I admired since I was a little girl. I don’t recall telling her that learning French in my high school was always so much easier while listening to her music, or watching her movies. She was kind enough to share her story with me, the experience she gained while visiting Sarajevo during the past war and the emotions that remained years after. She is Jane Birkin, an English singer, song writer and actress that resides in the city of light and love- Paris. Of course, we spoke a little about the famed Hermès Birkin bag and the weight of having Serge Gainsbourg as the love of her life.
I promise to translate the entire interview in English, since it was published in Urban magazine in Bosnian language.
